What we need

  • Manage all accounting transactions
  • Prepare budget forecasts
  • External CPA interfacing
  • Publish timely financial statements
  • Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
  • Manage all customer / project creation
  • Manage all incoming and outgoing invoicing and timely payments
  • Manage all payroll and employee timekeeping
  • Manage all bank / credit cards and statements
  • Prepare and manage all international closings
  • Asset tracking, amortization and depreciation
  • Manage all vendors, purchasing and leasing
  • Manage all business licenses and fees
  • Compute taxes and prep tax returns for external CPA
  • Manage balance sheets, cash flow and profit/loss statements and projections
  • Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
  • Audit financial transactions and documents
  • Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
  • Comply with financial policies and regulations
  • Manage monthly reconciliation with affiliates and inter-company invoicing

What you need

  • 5+/- years’ work experience as an Accountant
  • Experience with QuickBooks online and desktop
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
  • Experience with general ledger functions
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
  • Experience with international currency conversion
  • BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree

Preferred but not required...

  • SAP Finance (FI) experience
  • German business / language experience
  • Additional certification (CPA or CMA)
